PhD Summer School 2016 - Microsoft Research.
Each PhD is the unique development of a student’s individual research project, conducted under the guidance of at least two supervisory members of staff with expertise in the research area. A PhD can be pursued in any area of research within the University where suitable expertise is available to support the proposed research.
This Statute came into effect on 1 January 2016. Any PhD candidates still enrolled under the 2003, 2008 or 2011 PhD Statutes may transfer to the 2016 PhD Statute by completing a PhD Statute Consent Form.
PhD applications are checked for eligibility by the Graduate School and eligible candidates are then short-listed by project supervisors. All short-listed PhD applicants will be invited to an interview at either the Camden or Hawkshead campus, which they must attend (in some circumstances, interviews can be conducted via skype).
Research projects for October 2020. Listed below are the research projects available for study commencing 1 October 2020. Some further projects will be released later in January 2020. Informal enquiries are encouraged and should be directed to the Director of Research.
Working closely with over 20 Industry partners, the Aura CDT invites high-quality applications for 4-year taught and research PhD scholarships. These are fully funded PhD opportunities to attract exceptional graduates to this new and innovative industry. Academic and Work Experience Prior to Sept 2016 Programme Start: I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology with a focus on neuroscience at Harvard University (Cambridge, USA).I then spent two years working as a research assistant and a teaching fellow at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute.
